Salamander Stoves

Founded in 2009 and based in the beautiful countryside of Devon, England, Salamander Stoves is a family-run business specialising in the manufacturing and design of our high quality flagship stove, the Hobbit. 

With over 18 years of experience in dealing with a wide range of antique, modern and contemporary stoves, we have carefully brought this knowledge to bear in the design of our own cast iron multi-fuel stove. Our aim is to provide you with a high quality stove that will give you years of long, trouble-free service, and every stove is hand-finished, fettled and inspected at our Devon workshop.

At Salamander Stoves, we recognised the need for a cast iron stove with a smaller footprint, and the demand for a small stove which offered the same benefits as a large, efficient wood burner. Our Hobbit multi-fuel stove achieves this, presenting itself as a high quality, compact, yet affordable stove, whilst being traditionally and elegantly styled to fit with every style of decor and interior design.
