Acorn Chimney Sweeping Services is a small family-run business with an office in Macclesfield. Established since 2010, owner Jonathan Ainscow takes great pride in providing a professional and superior service and will leave your property clean & tidy.

We will provide a CCTV inspection service if required at the time of sweeping or upon request, and a smoke evacuation test is carried out after every sweep. Following which an official insurance recognised certificate will be issued for each appliance serviced.

Our services cover the Cheshire & surrounding areas, and range from a basic sweep to a full installation. We can even supply, fit or service your Exo draught fans!

Jonathan’s background is a CITB trained Heating Engineer with experience in natural gas boilers, steam boilers, repairs & maintenance, so your appliance is in safe hands

Acorn Chimney Sweeping Services is registered with HETAS as an approved installation company, and also registered with the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS) 2010. Basic chimney sweep £65.00

For an open fire or gas fire:  £70.00

Oil fired Aga sweep (flue only) starts at:  £60.00

Aga Rayburn solid fuel sweep:  £60.00

Log burner / multi-fuel stove, sweep & service starts at:  £70.00

Birds nest removal (first hour):  £75.00 – £50.00 per hour thereafter

Basic wire bird guard or cowl supplied & fitted starts at: £82.00

Price for installations upon request & following a survey.

Parts & Maintenance

We also provide a repairs service for your appliance including: re-roping stove doors, supply & installation of replacement glass, fire brick repairs etc. Costs upon request, just ask!
