Best Chimney Clean is the chimney sweep business that has been serving customers in Exeter and the surrounding area for nearly 70 years, previously owned and run by Mark Best and his father before him.

My name is Jonathan. I’m old enough to remember there being only three TV channels, and live in Exeter, a city and area I love. Usually I will have Harry our cocker spaniel with me. He’s happy to stay in the van but loves to meet people!

I am qualified in all aspects of sweeping, with thousands of hours of hands-on sweeping experience. A full member of APICS and a HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep, this shows I meet the rigorous standards demonstrated through practical tests and assessments. I am approved by Devon Trading Standards ‘Buy with Confidence‘ scheme.

I love what I do; it’s a delight to visit people’s homes and businesses to make sure their chimneys are swept and safe to use – and I will be on time, and I won’t make a mess!
