Stubbys Chimney Sweeping is part of the Stubbys group. We wanted to be able to offer customers another great service. We have been established since 2014.

Our sweeps wear a uniform and are fully trained. They have a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of Sweeping and are happy to give advice and recommendations, as well as problem-solving issues you may have with your fire. We use the latest sweeping technology ensuring the most effective sweep is completed.

We provide a friendly, clean and professional service, in time slots to suit you. We issue you with a certificate after each sweep and offer annual reminders so it’s one less thing to remember!

At Stubbys we recommend annual chimney sweeping for most Domestic houses. This ensures your home is kept free from hazards such as leaking smoke and Carbon Monoxide.

Open Fires & Log Burners – we sweep using a mixture of rods brushes and a Vacuum. All we need is a power source, and we bring all other equipment including sheets to cover furniture so there is no mess.
Other – we can also sweep Agas, Rayburns, Oil Burners and Inglenooks. These sweep are more specialised so we will need to ask you a few more questions to ensure we know what we are dealing with and how best we can help you.

Birds Nest Removal – debris falling down is the first sign of a nest, Depending on the size of the nest this can be time consuming job, but we will continue to sweep until all twigs and aspects of the nest have been removed. After this service you may want to think about having something fitted to the top of your chimney to prevent this from happening again.
Camera Survey – these can be carried out if there are problems with your chimney, to inspect any debris blockages or damage.
Smoke Tests – these can be carried after a sweep  to ensure any issues have been resolved and the chimney is in good working order.
Cage, Caps and Cowls Fitted – we can supply and fit a range to best suit your needs.
